More Seniors

This was a very full day. I got to the studio at 8:30 this morning and left at 9:30 tonight. During that time I photographed 25 corporate head shots and designed matching security ID cards for those head shots then printed them. Knocked out 2 photo restoration jobs, Booked 1800.00 worth of new work and then did two senior photo sessions starting at 4 and 6m. These photos are from the senior sessions. All sessions are photographed in my studio or the alley behind he studio. I am getting bored with the alley and am looking for new locations within walking distance of the shop. I have a few locations in mind and will post photos from them when I shoot them.

Hey scott,
the images look great.Seniors can be a great summertime business and are worth the chase for your business. We find that senior portraits, like weddings are a once in a lifetime event abd folks, even in a bad ecomnomy open up their wallet. As far as the quality of your images here they are stellar as usual. Remember some parents do not want their girls looking to sexy in a portrait, especially a dad. If a senior comes to the studio without the parents be sure to keep it rather tame. I have been fussed at by a dad before and I'm a female photographer.

Thanks for the tip on the "Dad" thing. I too am a Dad and I get your point. I will not photograph anyone under 21 without a parent or at least someone else in the studio. Where can we all see some of your senior work?

These pictures are beautiful-- very tasteful and elegant--- like a classic movie star from the 50's

These are the most artistic Senior pictures I've ever seen. You capture the spirit of the personality---how refreshing to see a photographer with vision. I totally disagree w/ the first comment. These images depict the transition from child to adult in a very refined way-- as these young adults step into a new phase of their life. (i see the first comment was from a fellow photographer-- maybe a little jealousy showing at your vision)

Hey Scott,
Bored with the alley? It makes for great photos. Remember where I told you I wanted to shoot? Try the rooftops. I think they'll look good. See you soon. Wes Dodgen

This girl is absolutely gorgeous. You really true out her true and inner beauty. I agree that these are excellent pictures for a transition from a young lady to a woman.

Hey Scott, I'm glad you started doing senior portraits...there is a uniqueness to the shots you take not normally found in that market. By the way, I did follow your advice along the lines of: no trees! which makes my shots more interesting now.....
