Stuff from This Weekends Wedding

My wedding this weekend was in the North Ga mountains at an estate home built by the groom. The weather was fantastic and I can remember telling my couple that theirs was the kind of wedding that makes me not want to retire. It was very personal and at a place that was special to them. Once the groom saw the bride, he just could not stop hugging her. Not bad work if you can get it. She was a living doll. Enjoy the photos, I just started editing them. If you are here for the first time, maybe because you just got an e mail newsletter from me, drop me an e mail or make a post. If you don't want to do that, then just buy some of my DVDs. HA !
The photo of the estate is from Google Earth.

Beautiful work, Scott! I love the classic simplicity but gorgeous lighting - wow. I aspire to your level some day!

Your works are beautiful, but I am sure that you have been told that before. I shoot wedding (small weddings only)photography on a part time basis and do bridal protraiture as well. I am constantly striving to improve my skills especially when using the flash. I shoot primarily with a Nikon D200. I use Elements 5. I know that this is probably all very elementary to you, but I do enjoy the creative outlet. I am an older woman who wishes that she would have had the courage to use her creative abilities a long time ago. I suppose it is never to late. What equipment do you use and/or would you recommend for someone in my position?

Hi Gracey,
You are never to old to start. I use Nikon D200 bodies and many different lenses. You have good equipment but an update to your software would be a good idea.

Scotty!

Should I talk about Delta's emergence? Nope that is old news.

Should I talk about the Braves just beating the Mets or my John Rocker "I Love NY" baseball? Nope that will happen a lot this year.

I want to talk about something a little more nearer and dearer to my heart.........How come I don't get a e-mail newletter?

How did you know I sent one ?
Lets go to a ball game. Atl Braves, Macon Sounds or Garens Stockbridge Braves with the 12 and 2 record.
You need to come check out the new house. And bring your fishing rod and golf clubs. Canongate is across the street.

Your work is beautiful - you asked if anyone liked the framed picture inside another background... I think it is a shame to take away from your spectactular pictures. Almost makes me want to do weddings (I do families and children) - can't wait to spend more time on your blog!
